Hello! Let's introduce ourselves :)

(Blue Basket Girl) #83

I love KA!!

(JiminieVKook) #84

@Blue_Basket_Girl Yeah, I can try it that way. Who knows, it might work! Thanks! I have seven siblings, as well. One whole brother, one half-brother, two half-sisters, two step-brothers, and one step-sister. I don’t think that I’ve ever met my steps, though; if I did, then I was very young. I love Khan, too. It’s what has gotten me so good at some subjects (especially math - I used to cry in sixth, because it was too hard, but not anymore :sunglasses:). Can I take a guess as to where you live? I’m thinking France or Canada.

(Dreamyoungjae) #85

Sorry for the late answer but this is Youngjae from GOT7, not Jae ^^ I’m also trying to learn Korean because of Kpop ! It’s a language very fun to learn

(JiminieVKook) #86

Oh, oops! I’d say I was close, but I’m not. Not really. Sorry about that! I haven’t listened to GOT7’s songs, yet. Any recommendations?

(Dreamyoungjae) #87

haha it’s okay ! You Are is my favorite title song and Just Right is their most popular one but in my opinion their side tracks are a lot better than their title songs. My personal favorites are Can’t, See the Light, If, Prove It, Sick, Sign, Teenager and Face ^^

(JiminieVKook) #88

Awesome! Thank you. Their titles seem very energetic, if I do say so myself. I can’t wait to listen to them!

(John Pierre Velléroux) #89

Good for you! Homeschooling is really wonderful, isn’t it? It’s even better with a family like yours, you’d probably get very close to all your family, I could imagine.

Haha! True true. Have you thought about any career paths at all? What other talents do you have?

(Blue Basket Girl) #90

Nope, I don’t live in France or Canada. xD

(Blue Basket Girl) #91

Yes, for sure

I love to crochet and read. I actually have an Etsy shop where I sell crochet things that I make. It’s mostly run by my parents, but I make the stuff and earn the money. I crochet anything I want to, ranging from hats and scarves to sonic screwdrivers! :joy: Oh, and I started learning to read when I was two xD

(John Pierre Velléroux) #92

Oh I’ve heard of Etsy. What’s your shoppe’s name? Haha! Do you think you could run your shoppe by yourself? Or are you happy that your parents basically run your Etsy shoppe?

Wow, you’re very young when you could read! Good for you.

(Blue Basket Girl) #93

@P.Velleroux I definitely could run it by myself!! The reason my parents run it is because you have to be 18+. But I do pretty much all the work, they just help me make some decisions, and take the pictures, and other stuff. I’ll DM you the name.

(John Pierre Velléroux) #94

Nice, and thank you. Can’t wait to checkout out.

(Nigu84) #95

Thank you very much, always nice to hear that

(Kullboys) #96

Hello, everyone.
I am a new Member and the ability to hear my English is not good.
So I look forward to making friends with you for mutual exchange of experience for each other.

(JiminieVKook) #97

Hello, kullboys! I speak English. What do you speak? I’ll be a friend, if you’d like. Also, welcome to the forum!

(Crim) #98

Salutations!!! My name`s TheCrimstone06, but you can call me Crim!!!
Nice to meet ya, Emily!!! From one teenager to another, I wish you luck on Memrise!!!
Also, nice to see some Duolingo users here, even though I gave up with it after two tries. I’m learning French too, so if you ever need any help, feel free to ask me!!
Not sure what to say, so… Crim out (runs away)

(Crim) #99

You’ve been reading since you were two? Impressive!!!
Also, what books do you read?

(Blue Basket Girl) #100

I looove dystopian novels. Right now I’m reading Survivors by Erin Hunter. I got the book as a gift, because the person didn’t want it anymore, so I’m not sure if I’ll like it or not. I just finished Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riorden, it was pretty good. I’ll probably get the next book soon. I’m also reading Emma by Jane Austen for school, it’s kind of hard to follow but it’s pretty good.

What about you?

(Crim) #101

Erin Hunter? As in… Warrior Cats Erin Hunter??
Heh, I like dystopian too!!! Unfortunately, I’ve only read Divergent and the Hunger Games (HG was better, in my opinion.)
Horror and fantasy are smashing, too!!! Anything bloody with a good death scene, and I’m down!!! (Currently, I’m reading Frankenstein along with my best friend.)
Also, Survivor’s the one about dogs, right?

(JiminieVKook) #102

Pardon me, if you don’t mind, but my brother LOVES the Warrior Cats and Survivor books. Those are some of his favorites and he is sometimes stingy about what he reads! I haven’t read them, yet, myself, but they sound interesting enough that I am intrigued. He also seems to like the Iron Trials by Holly Black (I think was the author’s name?). Do you know of any other books that are similar to them? I loved the Hunger Games books, but haven’t read Divergent. Might I ask what other books you guys have read?
