Australian Languages

Why are half your languages left off the index?
(Warlpiri, Gumbaynggir, Pitjantjatjara, Arrernte, Wiradjuri)

Without meaning to be rude, not many people speak those languages so I doubt that they’d give it a lot of advertising.

I suspect this is because the index categories are not dynamically generated. A design shortcoming, if true.

Its a shame
The Australian languages are all so threatened

It would be great if Memrise would support them a bit

I appreciate your concern. There are more than 6000 languages in the world, and I don’t think it is possible to have a categorie for each of them.

So suppose, the most practical approach is to have a section for languages with a lot of learners, and then group similar languages with less learners together.

I think it is great that you want to promote these languages; consider opening a threat in the Asian/Pacific language section - then you can tell about these languages and post any courses you have created.
