App Restart When Switch App

Sometimes when I switch to another app by double-pressing my iPhone’s home button and then come back to Memrise, the app will restart and I’ll have to start my lesson again. Most times it doesn’t, but I’d say once every 5-6 times it will and it’s starting to get annoying because I like to use another app for memorizing Japanese kanjis when Memrise gives me a new one. Therefore I regularly switch apps when using Memrise and it would be nice if I could just continue with my lesson every time I did so.

We’ve created a bug report for this (internal code QA-740). Unfortunately, as we’ve had no other reports of this, we don’t currently have any timeframe for when this will be fixed.

Please do keep your app updated in the meantime, and if you have any other details to add or screen recordings, just reply to this thread.
