App laggy and unusable after last update

Greetings!

I am writing due to some issues that I have experience with the latest app update. Currently, I am using the lifetime subscription of Memrise, and everything was working excellent. I have seen that some people are having issues downloading courses, but no in my case, until the latest update on 10/09. I am not quite sure what the problem might be, but I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it, clear cache and data and see if that might help, but nothing changes. The thing is that after the update, the app is slow. When I switch from one course to another, it freezes for a few moments and then changes to the courses. That is when I have not downloaded any course yet. When I download my courses, it becomes slower and slower until it never loads any course. The main window after the apps loads freezes and never loads.

I am using a Samsung j6, and I have reinstalled several times now, rebooted the phone, and it does not work at all. I don’t think that it is my phone since I found older versions of the app online, and they work flawlessly, but they do not have a dark mode, and I usually study at night on my cell phone.

Is there any chance that I could get a version of the app with the previous build before this update? Nothing has worked so far. I cannot use the app at all now, but it worked fine before the last update

could you please provide us with a video/gif of what you are experiencing? Also, we release updates weekly so could you let me know if this is still the case on the newest update (if you are on the latest, wait until there is a new one, update and check)?

Sure thing, I can do that. Here is a video. It has been like that from the very moment of the update. Unable to do anything to change it. Older versions are working fine, but with fewer features. If it is only a week, I can wait, but really, the app cannot be used at all in my case.

Thanks for the video Hugo1620, I appreciate the app is certainly not usable. Can you please wait a few days for the next update and let me know if it continues behaving that way? I hope this is just a hiccup.
